-Breakfast:
Give it to me Raw Smoothie + handful pumpkin seeds + (optional) herbal tea or one cup organic coffee or coffee substitute
-Mid-morning:
coconut water (4 ounces), add a snack if you need it
-Lunch:
Orange Arugula Salad
-Snack:
½ avocado with 1 slice of tomato & cucumber, season with sea salt, pepper, and garlic powder, follow with Cranberry Flush
-Dinner:
Coconutty Brussels Sprout and Beet
Recipes:
Give it to me raw
-1 banana
-1 cup hemp milk or rice milk
-1 tablespoon ground flax seed
-1 large handful spinach or kale
-1 cup frozen berries
-¼ teaspoon cinnamon
-1 splash vanilla extract
-ice (optional)
Orange Arugula Salad
-1 cup arugula
-2 cups spinach
-2 oranges, peeled and sliced
-½ cup cherry tomatoes, sliced in half
-2 tablespoons pine nuts
-1 avocado, diced
-1-2 tablespoons Simple Miso Dressing, Tahini Dressing, or the juice of 1 lime
Place the arugula and spinach in a large bowl. Top with cherry tomatoes, oranges, avocado, and pine nuts. Toss in
dressing before serving. Serves 2
Coconutty Brussels Sprout and Beet
-2 cups Brussels sprouts, chopped
-2 large beets, chopped (use canned BPA-free beets if
necessary)
-2 tablespoons coconut oil
-2 tablespoons dried coconut flakes
-½ teaspoon garlic powder
-salt and pepper, to taste
Toss Brussels sprouts + beets with coconut oil, garlic powder, + sea salt and pepper.
Roast at 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes, until tender. Sprinkle with coconut
flakes to garnish. Serves 2
